Focusing specifically on its surgery services, Hendrick provides top-of-the-line care and leverages innovations to continue driving positive results. Its surgery facilities include 30 operating rooms, two cardiovascular operating rooms, five major treatment rooms and robotic-assisted surgery services.

For example, thanks to the information available through Altera Surgical Logic, Hendrick has the data it needs to understand how early surgeries and delays affect the rest of the day’s schedule. In addition, Hendrick teams can capture data and report trends that help predict and change block scheduling based on actual use. With these technologies in place, Hendrick can free up ORs, staff and resources for other teams.
