Paragon also provides a comprehensive Workqueue to help clinicians easily locate relevant patient information, presenting the right information at the right time for greater efficiency and improved care delivery. “It’s incredible to think that Paragon grew out of an experiment with PowerBuilder,” said Technical Consultant Nancy Tyree. “It’s great to be a member of such a wonderful team!”

Trina Daywalt, a Platinum Support Consultant who’s been with the Paragon team since its launch, took a moment to reflect on how far the solution has come and how early user needs heavily influenced development. “When Paragon was first released, our users were reluctant to use the [computer] mouse! They wanted to use keyboard functions for everything, so keyboard shortcuts were incorporated throughout many parts of Paragon and still exist today.”

Throughout the past two and half decades the Paragon team has kept a relentless focus on providing next-level healthcare to rural and community hospitals.
