Climbing higher together: A look inside our 2025 client successes
Our clients’ success is truly at the heart of everything we do. We are only successful when our clients can achieve the results their patients expect. As we look ahead to 2026, we want to highlight a few of our client success stories from 2025 and celebrate our meaningful collaborations with these healthcare partners.
When incorrect patient data-mapping occurred during North County Women’s Specialists’ (NCWS) EHR migration, leadership knew they could lean on Altera Managed Services to successfully migrate 15 years of complete patient records. This partnership ensured NCWS could maintain continuity of care and focus on the patient experience, while the Altera Managed Services team members diligently worked in the background to keep NCWS’s systems running smoothly.
With their sights set on growth, leaders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital partnered with Altera Cloud to provide the flexibility and support needed during the organization’s recent expansion. By using Altera Cloud, Phoenix Children’s saved up to 50% on operational costs and its new clinical site was up and running within days, rather than weeks or months. Altera Cloud helped drive Phoenix Children’s system availability, and go-live was an instant success. We’re honored to be part of such a meaningful project and look forward to more partnerships with Phoenix in the future.
Hendrick Health System, like many other hospitals, was all too familiar with the common headache that can come with system upgrades. Hendrick took a different route when upgrading its EHR, and instead relied on Altera’s Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) team, for a smooth, headache-free upgrade—with the tools and resources they needed right away. During their PR upgrade (patch release) from 30 to 33, Ruth Hutchins RN BSN-C, Manager, Clinical Informatics at Hendrick, said, “Overall, I appreciate the additional ‘eyes on the system’ benefit that TCoE provided to our team. We experienced a marked reduction in post-go-live issues primarily due to the utilization of the TCoE team.”
As a top-rated hospital located in the heart of Nebraska, Columbus Community Hospital felt the weight of financial burden when their manual ER coding system highlighted its decreasing margins. By using Ventus Intelligent Coding, CCH streamlined its coding system without having to adjust pricing or hire more staff. With a revenue increase of $8.1 million, CCH used a solution that helped the organization find money that was there all along. We’re grateful to be a part of this story in helping CCH drive efficient coding and financial success, so it can continue focusing on providing excellent care for its community.
When Wyckoff Heights Medical Center began experiencing issues with lag time and login delays, Altera Cloud stepped in to help. Through Altera Cloud’s proactive monitoring, we helped Wyckoff resolve its latency issues and reduce login time by nearly 30%. Jebashini Jesurasa, Chief Information Officer at Wyckoff said, “Altera has been able to come forth when we had a challenge and was able to help us improve the environment, improve the latency and overall improve our efficiency.” We’re not just a partner that supplies technology, we’re the partner walking beside our clients, helping them climb higher every day.
Having a reliable, efficient support team to handle upgrade details from pre-work, testing and go-live preparation is crucial for a successful activation. Holzer Health System experienced just that during its Paragon 24.1 upgrade. “The Paragon 24.1 upgrade didn’t have any major setbacks, which enabled us to continue treating patients without system issues. It was a positive activation and post-live environment. Altera’s project methodology has improved over the years, and it shows,” said Austin D. Willoughby Director of IT Holzer Health System.
At Altera, we measure our success by our clients’ outcomes, and we’re proud to stand by each of them as we journey to the summit of healthcare.
